Taxdown is a Spanish tax platform best known for the annual tax return (millions of returns filed, a highly rated app, certified tax experts). Its freelancer service includes registration, quarterly tax filing, expense OCR with a monthly quota (30–100 scans), unlimited advice and defence before the Spanish Tax Agency (AEAT), from €29.90/month + VAT. The annual return is bought separately (€35–65), and as of our review their freelancer page doesn't mention VeriFactu, bank reconciliation or a dashboard.

Which one suits you?
When autonomia360 makes more sense
- If you want a platform for the day-to-day, not a service designed around the annual return: full invoicing, recurring invoices, quotes, projects and KPIs.
- If VeriFactu worries you: their freelancer page doesn't mention it as of our review; in autonomia360 it's part of the product.
- If you want direct debit batches and business insight (KPIs, projects, dashboards), which their service doesn't advertise.
- If price matters: our entry plan (€15/month) comes in below their Standard (€29.90 + VAT), and our Pro (€30) below their Premium (€59.90).
When Taxdown might suit you better
- If you need it today: their freelancer service is available now.
- If your priority is the annual return: that's their speciality, with expert review and a strong track record.

Our honest verdict
For a freelancer's day-to-day, autonomia360 offers more platform: full VeriFactu invoicing, direct debit batches, KPIs and projects, with an entry plan at €15/month, below their Standard (€29.90 + VAT). And against their Premium (€59.90 + VAT), our Pro (€30) includes filing by a certified tax advisor.
Taxdown wins if your absolute priority is the annual return, or if you value their defence before the tax agency: that's their turf and their record is excellent. As a day-to-day platform, it's still being built.

Frequently asked questions
Who files the taxes in each case?
In both, a professional: Taxdown's team files your quarterly forms, and in autonomia360 our certified tax advisor does, with the receipt visible on the platform. The difference is everything else: in autonomia360 you watch the tax build up in real time and manage invoicing, expenses and projects in one place.
Isn't Taxdown the leader in tax returns?
For online tax returns, probably yes — and if that's all you need, their return service from €35 is a great option. This comparison is about their freelancer service, which is newer for them and where their site publishes less detail about the platform.
What about VeriFactu?
As of our review (August 2026), Taxdown's freelancer page doesn't mention VeriFactu. We're not saying they don't have it — only that they don't publish it. In autonomia360, invoicing is VeriFactu-compliant by design.
Can I use autonomia360 today?

How does OCR work on each?
Taxdown includes 30 to 100 scans a month depending on the plan. In autonomia360, the Básico plan has a limited number of scans and from the Pro plan they're unlimited.
Recurring invoices, quotes and templates?
Taxdown's freelancer page doesn't advertise them as of our review. In autonomia360 they're included on every plan.
Is freelancer registration included?
With both: Taxdown registers you for free, and so does autonomia360.
What about information requests from the tax agency?
An honest tie: Taxdown includes defence before the tax agency, and in autonomia360 your certified tax advisor handles requests from the Pro plan.
Is there a minimum contract with autonomia360?
No. The plans (€15, €30 and €70/month excluding VAT) are monthly: change plan or cancel whenever you like, and paying annually gets you a discount.
